Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies

So today I woke with the urge to bake something extraordinary, something that would challenge my baking mettle, a 20-tier cake, a dauntless soufflee…but it’s kind of hard to be a Master Baker when there are no eggs in the house. Soooo…here are some eggless cookies. They’re good, don’t worry.

Mix the sugar, butter, vanilla extract, oil, and water.

Then add the flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips.  Set to bake



  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 1/2 C. butter, softened
  • 1/2 C. oil
  • 3 Tbs. water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/4 C. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1-1 1/2 C. chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Stir sugar, softened butter, oil, water and vanilla together. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. Place in balls on tray. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cookies are brown along the edges.
